This battery powered height measuring device (for wall mounting) determines the height via an opto-sensor and transmits wirelessly, from the measuring unit to a separate, easy to read LCD display so that the result can be read off at any location. The measuring slide is easy to locate due to the large head piece, and the feet are accurately placed using the heel positioner.   The  242 is well-suited for hospitals and clinics, particularly endocrinology, dialysis centres and paediatrics.
